Zonta Club of Beirut was established more than a decade ago in 2012. It is a non-profit, politically unaffiliated and non-religious civil association. registered with the Lebanese Ministry of Interior (number 1094), it holds the distinction of being the first and only club from the Arab world within Zonta International, having joined as the 65th country.

Zonta Club Beirut is part of District 14 which currently comprises eight countries: Austria, Croatia, Cyprus, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy and Lebanon.
At an international level, Zonta Club of Beirut implements Zonta International’s educational awards and scholarships as well as support programs, in collaboration with the United Nations and its agencies.
ZONTA Club of Beirut, founded in 2012, is registered with the Lebanese Ministry of the Interior (Number 1094). ZONTA Club Beirut made Lebanon the first one in the Arab world, to join Zonta International as a member. Lebanon is part of Zonta District 14′ which comprises now 7 countries: Austria, Germany, Croatia, Italy, Cyprus, Hungary and Lebanon.
